All of NMC's programs embody the Montessori spirit. The foundation-building preschool classrooms focus on material-facilitated discovery, while the lower elementary program introduces more conceptual content and prepares children to tackle more abstract concepts later in the learning process. The last step in Northville Montessori's education, Upper Elementary provides students with immersive, interdependent units of study that culminate in meaningful projects and events, allowing knowledge gained to come alive for the student in a truly unique way. Our program allows our students to reach their innate potential and emerge as well-rounded, well-adjusted individuals.

Northville Montessori's programs extend from preschool to 6th grade. 7th and 8th grade students are accepted on a case-by-case basis, depending on class sizes each year. We have four classrooms: Preschool (2 classrooms), Lower Elementary, and Upper Elementary.

Childen spend a good deal of time outside enjoying and enriching themselves.
